Well I didn’t title this post, it was an automated title courtesy of wordpress but I guess it’s pretty much a good title for me. Having pretty much been incubating in the the womb of my inner cave for many moons “Hello World!” is right close to how I feel lately. Hello World! did you miss me…well I sure as hell missed you!
So where have I been you may of may not be curious to know. I have been dancing with she who is the destroyer of disguises and consumer of flesh. She who peeled me back to my bare bones and dared me to look at myself naked. (I burnt out both my eyeballs doing that, thank Goddess they grew back!) She who stripped me of my outseasoned autumn leaves and buried me deep under a blanket of snow, whilst the fertile earth gathered new seeds of potential. She whose blazing sun finally melted away the freeze and encouraged forth the birthing of the Protector, a paladin of sorts. My tears, her fire, our synchronised breaths, my struggling, her quiet patience, a forged alliance of True value and worth. There were those who tried to force change, Goddess knows I tried to force it myself but no matter how many times you scrape back the snow to look the fact is new growth will only come when it’s good and ready and when the conditions are “just right”. “It will arrive when it arrives”. Be wise and look for the signs of spring before you get out your gardening tools. Until then sit back, allow space and time to be and trust that all is as it should be. There’s is much that goes on deep beneath the snow before the conditions are right for the seeds to grow.
